Jurassic World Evolution Gameplay and Review — PS4
This game now holds a special place in my heart.

When I was younger and just starting out in college, my goal was to become a palaeontologist. I had all these plans to go to KU or K-State to study. Bygones be bygones, I’m now a game developer, 3d artist and writer, but I’ve always regretted not going into my original field of intended study. So games featuring dinosaurs are my new big thing (they’ve always been my thing, actually) but JWE does a particularly fantastic job, and as a game artist I can’t help but nerdgasm over these spectacular Dino models. Employment goals.

As I write this review, I’ve started a new game on JWE so I can take you through from the very beginning, and relive it myself since it’s been a while.
The game takes place along La Cinco Muertes island chain. The Five Deaths. If you recall from Jurassic World 2, Ian and his team learn about the entire chain and travel to a different island from the original movie. In this game, we get to explore and build on them all.
Note: I cannot speak to the PC version of the game. My gameplay is solely PS4 until the developers decide to release the game on Mac. (Please)

JWE puts you in charge of everything, say hello to responsibility.
Think of yourself as John Hammond, or a capitalistic God.
You must build, power and operate every aspect of the park. You are responsible for dinosaur health, happiness and welfare, visitor happiness and…
